Description
The Wet Sounds HT-4 amp packs a phenomenal amount of punch into a compact package that’s ideal for your boat or car stereo system. This Class D full-range amplifier can be configured to run almost any speaker combination — from multiple speakers and tower set-ups to high-powered subwoofers. With high-pass and low-pass filters plus bass boost on all channels, you’ll be able to fine-tune your system to get the sound you want.
The HT-4 also lets you enjoy the convenience of RCA input summing. With this feature, you can drive all channels with one set of RCA cables without the need for RCA Y-adapters.

Marine Amplifier: The Wet Sounds Hydro-Tech series amplifiers, with conformal coated PCBs, are specifically designed for marine applications. However, the amps are not waterproof, and should not be mounted where they are likely to get wet.
4-Channel Amp: The HT-4 is a 4-channel amplifier, basically two 2-channel amps in one chassis. The inputs, outputs, and controls are labeled CH1/CH2 or CH3/CH4.
Mounting Feet: Using the included mounting feet adds approximately 1/2″ to the height of the amp, but allows you to hide the wiring under the chassis.
Logo: The Wet Sounds logo mounts over the status LED, on the top of the amp. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally.
End Covers: There are removable covers on both ends of the amp to help protect the controls and connections. The covers can be painted.
Note: A 3mm Allen wrench (not included) is needed to remove the covers. They must be removed during the installation.
Controls
Control Panel Cover: All the controls are protected by a rubber cover to help keep them dry.
Input: When only using one pair of the RCA inputs, set the Input switch to 2CH. When using all four RCA inputs, set the Input switch to 4CH.
Gain: CH1/CH2 and CH3/CH4 have independent gain controls, continuously variable rotary controls; 200 mV to 5 V.
Crossover: CH1/CH2 and CH3/CH4 have independent crossover controls. Each 12 dB/octave crossover can be set to low pass, high pass, or full (crossover is bypassed and the amp output is full range). The crossover points are adjustable from 50 Hz to 250 Hz.
Bass Boost: CH1/CH2 and CH3/CH4 have independent bass boost controls; both centered at 45 Hz, they are continuously variable from 0 dB (flat) to +12 dB.
Connections
Power Terminal Block: The amplifier has a power/ground terminal block that detaches from the amplifier, making it easier to connect the power and ground wires. Once the connections are made, the terminal block plugs into the amplifier. The power/ground block has set screw terminals and will accept 4 gauge wire.
Speaker Terminal Blocks: The speaker terminal blocks also detach from the amplifier. One speaker block has set screw terminals for two speakers and the remote turn-on lead, the other has set screw terminals for two speakers. All the terminals will accept 12-16 gauge wire.
Preamp Inputs: The amplifier has two pair of RCA jack inputs.
Preamp Outputs: There is also one pair of pass-through preamp outputs, making it easy to connect another amplifier without running an extra set of RCA cables.
Note: The preamp inputs and preamp outputs are extended 5″ from the amp on pigtail wires.
Fuses: The amplifier is protected by two 25-amp ATO blade-type fuses.
